Our proposals
Next meeting — Samedi 7 mars 2026 à 20h30 — Salle de l'inscription Maritime, Audierne

Our proposals

Hor kinnigoù

Five commitments to bring Audierne-Esquibien to life. Each proposal is shaped on the ground, through conversations, through your voices.

Hands of different ages intertwined, symbolising family, solidarity and diversity.
01

Living together and solidarity

Bevañ asambles ha kenskoazell

A municipality that protects the most vulnerable, fosters social diversity and enables people to live here all year round — not just in summer. This means renovating the Pierre Le Lec school, an active policy on year-round housing, creating a nursery and maintaining local public services. For our elders: care homes, day centres and an "Age-Friendly City" initiative.

Childhood, youth and transmission in Audierne-Esquibien
02

Childhood, youth and passing the torch

Bugaleaj, yaouankiz ha treuzkas

Giving young people spaces, resources and a real place in community life. Community activity spaces, a youth municipal council, educational and sustainability projects in schools, "Pocket Money" and "Youth Passport" programmes. Strong roots from which to explore the world, a vibrant culture to grow up here and see beyond.

03

Ecological transition and quality of life

Treuzkemm ekologel ha framm-buhez

Preserving our coastline, our resources and anticipating the effects of climate change. Supporting artisanal fishing and local agriculture, managing water sustainably, renovating municipal buildings for energy efficiency, developing cycling and walking routes and 30 km/h zones. Protecting biodiversity and pursuing a "remarkable heritage site" designation.

Local democracy and culture in Audierne-Esquibien
04

Local democracy and culture

Demokratelezh lec'hel ha sevenadur

An open, participatory municipality committed to social and cultural ties. Deciding together, not behind closed doors: transparent governance, open council meetings, citizen workshops. Supporting associations with premises and resources, and keeping culture alive all year round — libraries, cinema, theatre, heritage.

05

Local economy and responsible management

Armerzh lec'hel ha mererezh reizh

Supporting local business while ensuring safety, mobility and sound finances. Shops and short supply chains, market hall renovation, sustainable tourism that respects the way of life. Safe roads, protected walkways and park-and-ride facilities. Useful, eco-responsible investments and well-managed finances.
